Texas summers are hard on almost everything, and birds are no exception. When temperatures climb into the triple digits, some birds face a serious challenge: keeping their bodies cool and hydrated at the same time. Texas is too ecologically varied for a single plant list to work statewide. Treat feeders as supplemental support
